Senior Secondary: (Class XI & XII)
The CBSE Senior Secondary programme is learner-centric with students acquiring various skills; building self-concept, sense of enterprise, aesthetic sensibilities and sportsmanship. Therefore, for the purpose of fostering core competencies in learners, this curriculum encompasses major learning areas, from scholastic and co-scholastic. The subject areas are broadly divided into electives and compulsory subjects.
At The VHS we believe in providing freedom for students to pursue his/her area of interest and aptitude by offering 21 academic and skill based subjects. Since the board does not mandate any streams, the learner is free to choose any combination of subjects at the senior secondary level. Subjects offered at The Gaudium:
- Stream 1:English, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, IT/Artificial Intelligence
- Stream 2:English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Artificial Intelligence / IT

- Term 1: Periodic test 1, Periodic 2 and Term I Exam
- Term 2: Periodic test 3, Periodic 4 and Term II Exam
Class XII appears for two pre boards in the school thus preparing them for the CBSE Class XII board examination.
